All the cool kids are doing it
A few days ago someone here at the office asked me a good question – why am I writing this blog? Or more specifically – why am I writing a blog for a bingo hall? What could blogging and bingo possibly have in common, and what could I possibly say that would be interesting to bingo player other than ‘Play Bingo.’ So, I flipped the question on him and asked why he thought I was blogging. The answer I got back was ‘because all the other bingo halls are doing it.’
My colleague (let’s call him Jim for now) was partly right, but right for the wrong reasons (I bet you’re going to read that again.) Jim was right - one of the reasons that I started blogging is in fact because there are so many other bingo blogs about. This is a competitive industry, and it can be dangerous to be left behind by not using all the new tools available.
But that’s not just it.
Bingo is our business here at JackpotCity.com, we live it, breathe it and play it every day. And we like to think that we know a fair share about it. But you are a part of the bigger online community, who collectively know more and are a lot smarter than a few of us cooped up in an office, even if we do get to play with hula hoops. We think we know what would be good/fun in the bingo hall but these are just our theories and ideas. You’re the ones who actually know what the real deal is. And it would be daft of us to ignore that fact.
So, that my friends is the reason we started this blog. Because I think that it’s only fair that since it’s your bingo hall, you should have a say over what happens here. After all – if you’re happy, we’re happy 
It’s good business and plain old fashioned common courtesy to listen to what you’re saying.
Yes – a blog is also a great way to keep our roomies up to date on the latest happening in our little bingo world and a place for you to get to know us, but ultimately it’s so that we can take some time and listening to what you think. Have I said that a lot in the few paragraphs? Lol, I think I have – it just goes to show how much value we place on erm…what you think.
We might not be the biggest bingo hall out there (yet) but we love to have fun. And we know that we can give all our players special attention from the second they join up. So if you have a problem with your account or your welcome bonus, TheBingoManager and TheCityBingoGuy are in the chat rooms every day to help and fix things chop chop. Our CMs are some of the best and friendliest in the business and even the members of the team who you aren’t lucky enough to meet are some of the nicest and most helpful people I know. And they’re all here to help you have fun in a safe, trustworthy bingo environment.

I think it’s cool to know there are actual human beings behind the games. I also like keeping abreast of what you guys are up to.
