It’s Good Times here at JackpotCity.com!
Yesterday saw the launch of our new online newspaper the City Times here at JackpotCity.com, and I for one was happy to see it go live. It will be updated every 2 weeks with JackpotCity.com news and any casino related happenings from around the world that grab our attention. Please feel free to drop us a line with feedback in the comment box after you have viewed the City Times here:
It’s been a bit of a pet project for me, so any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
PS: If you’d like us to report on any casino happenings in your neck-of-the-wood, then let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

It was about Time for you guys to have a City Times portal! i dont have to Google my arse off anymore to read Jackpot City news and new offerings or scroll through my spam folder sniffing after Jackpot City newsletters. Everything i need about Jackpot City is there now in the Times, all in one place, only a click away!

Maybe you guys can split up the links on the left hand side? It looks like one long link, and i cant make out which line belongs to which headline
To celebrate the launch of City Times, i will have some Jack Pot, i mean Daniels, Time later

Take it easy folks. I said the joke was lame … but in a good, funny way … you know … like roll your eyes but still giggle.

I agee with what admin has to say about splitting, or spacing out the times links on the left, it just makes it easier to read.

Yeah, Macau is the Asian Las Vegas! Gambling is legal there since the 1850s to generate revenues for the government. These days gambling generates over 40% of the GDP of Macau. If you are planning to visit Macau you should check out few of the 28 casinos they have. You can read more details about Gambling in Macau on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_in_Macau

Speaking of web-genius (the JP Bingo guys and SmilinFlyBoy aside), I’ve just encountered Amazon’s Mechanical Turk. MAGNIFICENT!
And I love the back-story (from Wiki):
“The name Mechanical Turk comes from “The Turk”, a chess-playing automaton of the 18th century, which was made by Wolfgang von Kempelen. It toured Europe beating the likes of Napoleon Bonaparte and Benjamin Franklin. It was later revealed that this ‘machine’ was not an automaton at all but was in fact a chess master hidden in a special compartment controlling its operations. Likewise, the Mechanical Turk web service allows humans to help the machines of today to perform tasks they aren’t yet suited for.”
